Mindfulness

Tension is who you think you should be.
Relaxation is who you are.

– Chinese Proverb

My mind is a three-year old child on a sugar high.

Babbling on all day long about things that don’t really matter.

The chatter is incessant and unhelpful.

It’s hard for me to focus. I feel stressed and drained, and inefficient. It’s not sustainable.

What would my life be like if I didn’t have this constant tape playing in my mind, looping over and over?

Where’s the off switch?

I have some moments of relief from the relentless thoughts, but they are short-lived.

“I wonder what will happen at that meeting tomorrow, maybe I’ll have pizza for dinner, why is that guy wearing that…” The mental commentary drones on about any- and everything.

I want more freedom.

Predicting, analyzing, planning, solving… these are things that are supposed to make me feel better, right? More prepared and capable?

If they’re not helping, I’m must not be doing enough of it. Or the right kind of it.

Drop those balls, baby!

You don’t have to juggle them all. There’s another way.

Feeling bogged down with the constant hum of thoughts is common – nothing is “wrong” with you!

Good news – you don’t need a new brain.

Together, we will work on skills to help you befriend your mind and develop a new relationship with your thoughts. You will feel liberated and attentive.

You will feel lighter, more joyful, and present for yourself and those you love.

It’s time for a shift in direction.
